Sometimes we embrace the slow days, sometimes the chaos is all consuming and weeks seem to just disappear. But hey, we're lucky to be along for the ride and grateful for every crazy day. Seems like a big chunk of the world is drowning in a sea of consumerism. It is all about the latest, greatest gadgets and Christmas is no exception to this. I am making an effort not to fall into this trap. I want my kids to treasure what they have, who they have, and the wild adventure of life. And seriously, who doesn't love a handmade gift? The kiddos' creations are pure magic - you can practically feel the love and effort oozing out. I aim to spread that same warm fuzzy feeling when I give gifts, which is why we whip up our own natural goodies when we can and when that is not an option, we support small, local businesses. Sending you all the positive vibes and love this festive season, Much love, Billie xx Self Care Bundle: You'll need: 1x 50ml Maeve jar 2x 50 ml Eden droppers 4 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoon coconut oil (soft but not melted) 100ml carrier oil of choice (sweet almond, jojoba, fractionated coconut oil, to name a few) Skin Loving Essential Oils Method: Sugar Scrub  - Combine brown sugar and coconut oil in a bowl. If your brown sugar is quite lumpy, blitz in a food processor. Add essential oils of choice. For exfoliation, my go-to is orange. Pop the mixture into the jar and voila! Face Serum  - Add carrier oil to dropper until nearly full, then add essential oils of choice. For face serums I love jojoba oil with blue tansy, rosemary, and frankincense essential oils. Add dried flowers if you really want to up the ante! Body Oil  - Same as face serum, but mix up the oils selections. Personal preference for body oil is fractionated coconut oil with lavender, frankincense, and ylang ylang essential oils. Beard Oil You'll need: 50ml Ash Dropper 50 ml carrier oil (a mix is good, such as jojoba, almond, apricot, and avocado oils) Essenential oils such as sandalwood, cedarwood, bergamot, orange, and patchouli Method: Mix all ingredients until combined and fill dropper. Throw a few drops through his beard and relish in the glory! Fresh Home Bundle You'll Need: 500ml Amber Spray Bottle 500ml Bella Foaming Dispenser Thieves Household Cleaner or Cleaner of Choice 150ml Castile Soap Essential Oils good for cleaning such as clove, oregano, orange, rosemary Compostable Dish Cloths - available at most health food or homeware shops Distilled or cool boiled water Method: All Purpose Cleaner - Add required amount of cleaning concentrate to Amber Spray bottle. Top with water. Foaming Hand Soap - Add 150ml Castile soap to Bella bottle. Top with water. Add essential oils of choice. My faves are orange and peppermint. Pop these and your cute dish cloths in a little basket or tie some burlap ribbon around them and you have the cutest little bundle for keeping the home sparkling and fresh! Rest Easy Bundle You'll Need: 1x 60ml Maisie Spray 1x 50ml Eden Dropper 10ml roller - To match the spray and dropper go with the Flora Bamboo or choose whichever style tickles your fancy. Essential Oils for sleep support (lavender, orange, cedarwood, chamomile to name a few) 50ml heavy Carrier oil (jojoba and avocado are great choices for overnight moisture) 10ml light Carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil is my go-to) 20ml Witch Hazel Distilled or Cool Boiled Water Method: Sleepy Linen Spray -Add 10-15 drops of your oils to your spray bottle. Add 20ml witch hazel then top with water. Give a good shake. Great for use on pillow or throughout bed 30 minutes before getting in to set that sleepy tone. Overnight Face Oil - Add up to 15 drops of sleepy oil to your dropper bottle. Fill the bottle with your heavier carrier oil. Mix well to combine and apply liberally to face. Sleep Support Roller - Add up to 10 drops of essential oil to bottle. Top with light carrier oil. Mix and roll on to the soles of the feet. Bundle these for the perfect gift of rest. Ahhh bliss.
